COVID-19 Statement

The safety of our clients and staff is our number one priority.  While most people are trying not to move at this time, some have no choice due to personal or health situations.  This is particularly difficult for those in high risk situations to navigate.

Manage the Move is here for you and we're capable of meeting all CDC recommendations while providing the same caring, thoughtful service we're known for.

The safest "first step" is to start with a phone call or email so that we can minimize physical contact and risk.  We'll develop a plan to help you and take it from there, safely.

Manage The Move is the gold standard on all aspects of senior moves including downsizing, space planning for your new home, handling moving day and setting up your new home so it works for you!

Compassionate, efficient sorting and downsizing.  We maintain connections with a variety local organizations to ensure that the belongings you can't take with you are meaningfully donated.  Donations will be removed from your home and you will be provided with a receipt and itemized list for tax purposes.

Manage the Move can help make your home work better for you, whatever challenges or transitions you're facing.  Most seniors would prefer to live independently for as long as possible, and making arrangements for "Aging in Place" can help to make your home safer and easier to manage despite current or anticipated challenges.

Cassy helped my mother-in-law downsize from a one bedroom in assisted living to a studio. This was an especially difficult job as my mother-in-law was changing facilities from one place to another further from the Bay Area, and my mother-in-law definitely did not want to move. Cassy was fabulous, not only in knowing how to tackle my mother-in-law's piles, but also in creating a trusting relationship, and and always respecting the feelings of my mother-in- law.
